God is One, and God is infinite. This infinite God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present Mind, Soul, Spirit, Life, Truth, and Love. He fills all space and constitutes all being. He never makes mistakes, and He never has to correct what He has done. He is All-in-all. His work is perfect and eternal. According to the Bible, God has created you in His image and likeness, to express or reflect the glory of His divine nature. When you look at your own image or likeness in a mirror, you see yourself reflected. Likewise, when God beholds you, His own image and likeness, in the mirror of spiritual reality, what He sees is Himself, His own Allness expressed in a unique and individual way. Could He possibly see something besides that which is All, — His own infinite being? There can be no separation between God and His reflection, man. Just as there can be no separation between cause and effect, or between Mind and its idea. When Jesus said, (John 10:30), “I and my Father are one.”, he was testifying to the truth of this eternal relationship, which never has been and never can be severed. Course Steps Home To Step Six |
