NOW

Now is a river, a channel of thoughtı –
a current, encompassing all that is wrought
by the hand of our God, Whose timeless display
of unlimited goodness is one endless day.

The Preacher has shown us in scriptural verse²
that time was invented by Satan, a curse,
to obscure, to conceal from the vision of man
the fact that God’s Kingdom is always at hand.

As St. Paul declared to a world in despair
over all that had been or that might be unfair,
to all men, not only to those of his nation,
he said, “Behold, now is the day of salvation.”³

It’s not in the future or past where we find
Eternity present, but only in Mind,
where the here and the now of God’s wonders are shown
as the kingdom within us that Jesus made known.
