HOLY MORN

Oh Holy Morn! The empty tomb,
revealing Christ
as never born, dissolving gloom —
"self" sacrificed!


This offering was Jesus' part,
who gave but love.
And demonstrating healing's art
ascends above
presumptions of mortality.
All dreams of death
the human ego proffers
he relinquisheth.


No sacrifice for God-like man.
The Christ, concealed 
since ever time and space began,
is now revealed
through Jesus, who by Spirit's plan
hath death repealed.
