Rediscovering  Man's  Origin

Creation: Genesis Two

"Another well-disguised example of Satan’s subtle attempt to deceive the world is the argument that the two opposite accounts of creation in the first and second chapters of Genesis are one and the same. There are clear indications, both within the text itself, and historically, that these conflicting accounts come from two distinct documents written at different times and by different authors. In fact, one is an accurate portrayal of God’s spiritual creation. The other, in stark contrast, is clearly a description of the serpent’s deception, - the carnal mind’s material version, or error. In Chapter One, for instance, 'Elohim', God, creates immortal, spiritual man in His own image and likeness, male and female, with God-given dominion over all the earth. In Chapter Two, man is presented as a vulnerable, sinning mortal, male only, formed from the dust of the earth by 'Jehovah', the Lord God, who breathes the breath of life into his nostrils to make him a 'living soul', an entity independent of God, without dominion, and clearly needing another mortal 'help meet' to make his life complete. Commenting on this fraudulent view of man’s origin, Isaiah says, 'Cease ye from man whose breath is in his nostrils, for wherein is he to be accounted of?" ... Indeed!
