"Let us reconsider also our concept of man, Gods image and likeness. In the very first chapter of Genesis we are introduced to the divine law by which God governs His entire creation, including man. 'God saw every thing that He had made, and behold it was very good.' The Gospel of John tells us, 'All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.' Deuteronomy puts it this way, 'He is the rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.' Here is solid Biblical confirmation that what God makes is good, and that He makes all that is made. The conscious recognition and acknowledgment of this truth, this law, constitutes the basis of all spiritual understanding. It also forms the foundation upon which mans God-given dominion over the earth was originally established, and upon which his ultimate exemption from all evil is based." Back Outline Next Home Order |
