EGO SPEAK


	From dark and devious symbols,

	the human ego fabricates an unintelligible vernacular

	for the performance of its bi-lingual masquerade —

	its blatant pretense at communication.

	In twisted patterns of discourse,

	uttering words without meaning,

	phrases impervious to understanding,

	the ego strives not to communicate,

	but to sustain isolation.

	Speaking simultaneously in contradictory languages

	which mean both everything and nothing,

	it is forever oblivious to its own message.

	Replies are equally incomprehensible.

	Communication cannot occur.

	As unintelligibility ensues,

	the ego praises its own eloquence

	and applauds itself as "A Great Communicator".
